BELLA VITA CAFE + RESTAURANT 67-73 DARLINGHURST ROAD KINGS CROSS
Rashed Sikder believes that good food creates a good life so he christened his restaurant its Italian name, Bella Vita, meaning just that; a good life.
He’s been here at his 25-seat restaurant in the middle of Kings Cross for 15 years and in the hospitality industry for 35 years. He was born in Bangladesh but left for Cyprus to study hospitality. He then worked in Germany and Europe before coming to Australia for a better life.
He is a self-made man.
His wife followed him to Australia and his two teenage children are also now enjoying the fruits of his hard work.
He works from 5am to 5pm seven days a week with four staff to ensure he satisfies customers.
He loves the challenges and is never bored.
Customers enjoy bacon and egg rolls with coffee for breakfast and BBQ chicken with freshly squeezed orange juice for lunch.
He offers great food at great value with great coffee.
And he intends to remain in this high octane busy, bustling street location for many more years.
