Graham Simmonds is man on a mission. He is a professional interior designer having graduated from the Sydney Design School, Artarmon. His new boutique, opened four months ago in Potts Point, is an instant success. He has been a designer since 2015.

Founded in 2015, Gray & Co is a full-service residential design firm with a focus on high-end residential projects and boutique commercial spaces.

However, they are also available for smaller, single room transformations.

“I believe luxury is accessible to everyone,” says Graham, who prides himself on delivering stunning, inviting spaces on any budget.

As Founder and Principal designer of Gray & Co Interior Design, Graham is committed to designing spaces that his clients love living in. “Often my job is to be a counsellor,” he says as involves a close, collaborative relationship with clients to ensure that their new or updated home reflects their personality, culture and desires.
His design aesthetic is protean but his central philosophy is a tripod of balance, symmetry and proportion. Drawing inspiration from art, travel and the environment, Gray & Co’s design is clearly recognisable by its level of refined sophistication and balance between style and comfort.
Gray & Co’s work includes residential and commercial projects in Sydney, Jakarta, and New York City.

He approaches each project from the ground up and is there when the last cushion is plumped and placed.

In addition to interior design services, clients can experience his aesthetic by shopping his curated furniture and decor collection online or visit his boutique in Potts Point.

“l love it here because the locals are so interesting and diverse,” he says.
He has lived in the area nearby and loves the ambience, landscape and people. And they have reciprocated with their positive comments.

His portfolio includes Bonython Towers, Gosford, a bachelor pad in Rushcutters Bay and Tribeca Apartments, among many others. His ouvre has been featured in Belle magazine
Condé Nast Traveller and Home and Garden.

Gray & Co’s boutique of carefully curated and coiffured eclectic selection is constantly evolving. It includes an acrylic wall feature which, intriguingly, seems to light itself, a trilogy of modernist-inspired floor lamps, a pair of elegant 1960s French wall sconces, an olive vintage velvet sofa, and other objects d’art from Denmark, Italy and Australia.

He has an enthusiastic joie de vivre and the pose, poise, cheek and chic to curate and create interiors that add to our living enjoyment which are an inviting place to come home to.
